Public Comment Instructions <br /> Public Comment—Written <br /> (for the items on the agenda above) <br /> Members of the public may provide written public comment by submitting it to the <br /> ocbocc@oran ems. nygov email address or by delivery to the Planning <br /> Department's office at 131 West Margaret Lane, 2nd floor, Hillsborough,North <br /> Carolina 27278. <br /> When submitting the comment, include the following: <br /> • The date of the meeting <br /> • The agenda item(example: Item#3)you wish to comment on <br /> • Your name, address, email and phone number <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners, County Manager, County Attorney <br /> and Clerk to the Board, will be copied on all of the emails that are submitted. <br /> Public Comment—Verbal <br /> (for the items on the agenda above) <br /> Members of the public submitted requests to speak by the 3:00 PM deadline on <br /> December 15, 2020, the date the Board opened the public hearing for the proposed <br /> Efland Station development. Due to the large number of individuals signed-up to <br /> speak and the Board not wishing to extend into late hours that night when both <br /> Board members and the public were less than alert, the public hearing was recessed <br /> and continued until Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The Board also <br /> identified Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. as an additional date and time for <br /> continuing the public hearing. <br /> Individuals who were registered and did not get a chance to speak on December 15, <br /> 2020 previously provided their comments on January 5, 2021, or will have the <br /> opportunity to speak at the January 12, 2021 virtual meeting. <br /> Prior to the January 12, 2021 virtual meeting, email notifications with participation <br /> instructions will be sent to all remaining individuals who signed p to speak b. the <br /> December 15, 2020 deadline so that they can speak at the January 12, 2021 <br /> Continued Virtual Special Meeting_ Those speakers will be emailed a participant <br /> link to be able to make comments during the live meeting. Speakers may use a <br /> computer(with camera and/or microphone) or phone to make comments. <br /> The public speaker's audio and video will be muted until the BOCC gets to the <br /> respective agenda item(s). Individuals who have pre-registered will then be brought <br /> into the public portion of the meeting one at a time. <br /> While no more names will be added to the list to speak, anyone may continue to <br /> provide written comments to all Board members by sending an email to <br /> ocbocc&oran ec�ount. r�ic.gov. <br />
