With Deduct: <br /> this VE item the tile in the lobby will be demolished allowing the lobby to retain ($4,200) <br /> a consistent wood floor. At other locations, especially at the work room and hos- <br /> pitality areas the tile floor will be cleaned. For finish changes to these other areas <br /> see Item#2 below. <br /> 2 Add carpet in lieu of LVT at 006 Hospitality; 007 Storage; 010 Work Room; 014 Deduct: <br /> Utility; 015 Storage. With this VE item the tile will be cleaned and will remain in ($630) <br /> place(see Item 1 above). Plywood sub-floor will be attached over the tile and <br /> carpet installed in lieu of LVT. This change will be reflected on the Room Finish <br /> Schedule on sheet A-701. <br /> 3 Metal framing in lieu of wood framing for walls. This change will eliminate wood Deduct: <br /> framing at new walls. Engineered wood beams remain as does miscellaneous ($1,800) <br /> blocking and shimming. <br /> 4 Deleted <br /> 5 Keep existing water heater. The existing water heater located in the attic space Deduct <br /> has functional capacity to satisfy demand. The existing water heater will be tested ($1,000) <br /> to confirm output. <br /> 6 Deleted <br />
