189 <br /> External space for collection of solid waste and recyclable <br /> materials. Materials collected shall be consistent with the County's <br /> Solid Waste Management ordinance. Waste collection areas shall <br /> be located in such a manner as to provide convenient access for <br /> users of the facility and safe passage for service vehicles. <br /> iv. In those cases where storage/collection areas are located across <br /> property or district lines for shared areas, developer shall prepare <br /> and record a joint access agreement, including a shared <br /> storage/collection facility agreement, establishing the sharing of the <br /> proposed storage/collection facility and that they can be serviced <br /> across property lines or district lines. <br /> This agreement shall be reviewed and approved by Orange County <br /> Solid Waste and representatives of the County Attorney's office; <br /> v. For food service and lodging operations, space shall be reserved <br /> for the storage/collection of food waste collection; <br /> vi. The layout and design of waste/storage facilities for solid wastes, <br /> recyclable materials (including corrugated cardboard), and food <br /> wastes shall comply with the standards and guidelines of Orange <br /> County Solid Waste Management (OCSW) and the Orange County <br /> Environmental Health Food & Lodging Division. <br /> Further, such waste/storage facilities shall be designed and <br /> situated so not to negatively affect adjacent properties; and shall be <br /> located so not to impact internal traffic flow or located in loading <br /> zones. <br /> vii. The following standards notes shall be placed on all site plan(s) <br /> addressing compliance with the County's Regulated Recyclable <br /> Materials Ordinance (RRMO): <br /> 1. Clean wood waste, scrap metal, and corrugated cardboard <br /> present in construction and demolition waste shall be <br /> recycled; <br /> 2. All haulers of construction and demolition waste shall be <br /> licensed with OCSW; <br /> 3. Prior to the issuance of a permit to demolish any structure <br /> five hundred (500) square feet or greater in size, the <br /> permitee or owner shall have requested and received a <br /> deconstruction assessment by OCSW Enforcement staff in <br /> accordance with the RRMO. <br /> viii. The following additional notes shall be provided on any submitted <br /> site plan: <br /> 1. Gate design will include gate retainers. <br />
