She said appeals from this board of adjustment would never go to <br /> district court, but rather to superior court, and so there is no conflict; however, the BOCC just <br /> passed a policy not to appoint elected officials. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said the BOCC should honor that policy, and there is an <br /> appointed alternate that could sit while the position of re-advertised. <br /> Commissioner Price agreed. <br /> Commissioner Bedford said she admired Judge Cabe, and this is about the policy, not <br /> her. <br /> The Board agreed by consensus to decline this appointment. <br /> 11.
