1 <br /> 1 Attachment 3 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 DRAFT <br /> 4 MINUTES <br /> 5 ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 6 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> 7 VIRTUAL BUSINESS MEETING <br /> 8 NOVEMBER 17, 2020 <br /> 9 7:00 p.m. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 The Orange County Board of Commissioners met for a Virtual Business Meeting on Tuesday, <br /> 12 November 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Penny Rich, Vice Chair Renee Price, and <br /> 15 Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford, Mark Dorosin, Sally Greene, Mark Marcoplos, and Earl <br /> 16 McKee <br /> 17 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br /> 18 COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> 19 COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Bonnie Hammersley, Deputy County Manager <br /> 20 Travis Myren, Interim Clerk to the Board Greg Wilder, and Assistant Deputy Clerk II Allen <br /> 21 Coleman (All other staff members will be identified appropriately below) <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Chair Rich called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and asked Commissioners to accept <br /> 24 a roll call. <br /> 25 Roll call ensued. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners conducted a Virtual <br /> 28 Business Meeting on November 17, 2020. Members of the Board of Commissioners participated <br /> 29 in the meeting remotely. As in prior meetings, members of the public were able to view and <br /> 30 listen to the meeting via live streaming video at orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos and on <br /> 31 Orange County Gov-TV on channels 1301 or 97.6 (Spectrum Cable). <br /> 32 <br /> 33 In this new virtual process, there are two methods for public comment. <br /> 34 • Written submittals by email <br /> 35 • Speaking during the virtual meeting <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Detailed public comment instructions for each method are provided at the bottom of this <br /> 38 agenda. (Pre-registration is required.) <br /> 39 <br /> 40 1. Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Chair Rich requested to add consent agenda item 8-f, to consider the change in the <br /> 43 2020 BOCC meeting calendar allowing for an additional virtual special meeting on Saturday <br /> 44 November 21, 2020 to begin at 8:30 a.m., for the purpose of convening a Closed Session to <br /> 45 discuss personnel. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Bedford to <br /> 48 add item 8-f to the Consent Agenda. <br /> 49 <br />
