BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in the Regular Meeting Schedule. The Board of County Commissioners will consider adding a meeting on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 starting at 5:00 pm at Southern Human Services Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina (prior to the JPA meeting at 7:30pm) and to add a meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 5:00 pm at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (prior to the BOCC regular meeting at 7:30 pm). The Board will also consider adding a joint meeting with the Town of Hillsborough on Thursday, October 30, 2003 at 7:30 pm in the Government Services Center, Hillsborough, North Carolina. FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular meeting calendar by adding a meeting on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 starting at 5:00 pm at Southern Human Services Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina (prior to the JPA meeting at 7:30pm) and to add a meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 5:00 pm at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (prior to the BOCC regular meeting at 7:30 pm) and adding a joint meeting with the Town of Hillsborough on Thursday, October 30, 2003 at 7:30 pm at the Government Services Center in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
