I am also a former co chair and <br />current committee member for the Triangle Apartment Association Education Committee. <br />I currently hold a Certified Apartment Manager designation from the National Apartment <br />Association. Also of note: Although I live in Mebane, I am on the Orange County side of <br />Mebane. <br />Past Service on Orange County Advisory Boards: <br />This would be a new opportunity for me. <br />Boards/Commissions appointments: <br />Age Range:35-59 <br />Mebane Board of Adjustment <br />Background, education and experience relevant to this board: <br />My background is in Management of MultiFamilydwellings. I have had the opportunity to study <br />areas of new development and provide information whether the surrounding areas could or <br />would benefit from new or revilatized Multi family projects. I curently manage 266 units in the <br />Durham Market. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I would like to give back to my community. In additiona, I want to broaden my personal horizons <br />in opportunities to learn. <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br />While my history is in Multi Family I dont neccesasitly think that is the answer to aeveryting. I <br />brelive careful consideration needs to balance the needs of the community vs the needs of <br />possible occupants as well as what can be provided. I live in Collington Farms and belive the <br />commercial/retail areas have been a benefit to our neighborhood as a whole. <br />7
