October 28, 2020
Commissioner Rich 200 South Cameron Street Hillsborough, NC 27278 Dear Commissioner Rich:

Five members of the Commission for the Environment (CFE) have terms that will expire on December 31, 2020. Three of the five members have expressed interest in being reappointed; they are Kim Livingston, Kim Piracci and Jeremy Marzuola. Each of them have acceptable attendance records and provide valuable insight to the board, so CFE staff would like to recommend each of them for reappointment to another term. The fourth and fifth members, Jody Eimers and Laura Doherty, will not be able to serve second terms with the CFE, but plan to finish out their existing terms. Once these three members are re-appointed and Jody Eimers alongside Laura Doherty exit at the close of 2020, three vacancies will exist; all three for At-Large positions. Joint recruitment efforts by the CFE and the Clerk’s office will begin in order to fill these positions with qualified applicants.
Sincerely,
Bradley Saul Chair, Commission for the Environment

NATURAL and CULTURAL RESOURCES DIVISION
Orange County Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks & Recreation
PO Box 8181, Hillsborough, NC 27278
Phone: (919) 245-2510 Fax: (919) 644-3351
6
