18 <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said he would like to get more information on why certain boards <br /> are exempt from Advisory Board policy that was adopted on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020. He <br /> said the BOCC may want to amend this new policy. <br /> John Roberts said the reason some boards are not included is because it is an advisory <br /> board policy, and this hearing pool is not an advisory board. <br /> Chair Rich asked if Commissioner Dorosin wants to amend the advisory board policy. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said he would need more information from the Attorney. <br /> John Roberts said he will have more information for the meeting on October 20, 2020. <br /> Commissioner Price asked if task forces would fall under this policy as well. <br /> John Roberts said the policy does not include taskforces, the election committee, or <br /> other short-term committees. <br /> Commissioner Price said the BOCC may want to consider this more in the future. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br /> nominate Stacy Shakenal to the Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool. <br /> Roll call ensued. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said he has a question for the Attorney that is covered as <br /> privileged communication, and asked if he could send this question via email. <br /> John Roberts said email is fine, but noted his response would have to go to the entire <br /> BOCC, not just to Commissioner Dorosin. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said he understands, and it is completely fine to do so. <br /> Adjournment <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 9:02 p.m. <br /> VOTE: <br /> Penny Rich, Chair <br /> Allen Coleman <br /> Assistant Deputy Clerk II <br /> Submitted for Approval by Gregory A.
