The Orange Water antl Sewer Authority is managing <br />this construction pmject untler an agreement approvetl by the BOCC in Apri12000. Actual <br />constmdeon pf the wafer mains is expedetl to begin in September <br />The mats of the remaining elements of this public water supply project are associated with <br />intlivitlual resitlences availing themselves of the water matle available to weir community as a <br />result of the previously footled water main anstmc[ion. These costs include OWASA <br />availabilM1y tees antl water meters, plumbing from the water mater to the house, interior <br />plumbing, and payment of monNly waterbi/ls. The Solitl Waste Advisory Board has examinetl <br />these atltlHional fees in the attached report and has submitted a recommendation to the BoaN <br />of Commissioners regarding additional County funding for ihie pmject. The COUnry Attorney <br />has determined that there are some qualifications antl mptli8caticns that the Board of <br />Commissioners will have to observe n.JaNing the possible implementation of the specihc <br />reccmmendations from the SWAB. His observations are provided lnalelterto the BOCC Under <br />separate cover. Stall, the AHOrney, antl SWAB repreaema[ives will be preparetl to answer <br />queaticna that Commissioners may have about options for fundingihe remaining elements of <br />the public wafer supply project. <br />
