3 <br /> $10,000 from the Orange County IT Department's Round 1 funding to the Health <br /> Department to support the administering of the flu vaccines. <br /> 6. The Orange County Housing and Community Development Department has an urgent <br /> need of additional funding in support of the County's Housing Stabilization efforts. This <br /> budget amendment provides for the re-allocation of $75,000 from Orange County Asset <br /> Management Services Round 1 funding to the Housing and Community Development <br /> Department for the above stated purpose. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the budgetary changes related to the Round 1 <br /> Coronavirus Relief Funding (See Attachment, column #3) <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> Department on Aging <br /> 7. The Orange County Department on Aging has budgetary changes to the following <br /> programs: <br /> • Nutrition Lunch Program — receipt of $118,837 in Families First and CARES funds <br /> from the Triangle J Council of Governments (TJCOG) to meet additional need for food <br /> and supplies related to the department's Nutrition Lunch Program. <br /> • Family Caregiver Program — receipt of $26,836 in CARES funds from the Triangle J <br /> Council of Governments (TJCOG) for caregiver support and other related program <br /> expenses. <br /> • Community Based Services/Senior Centers — receipt of $55,385 in Title III B <br /> CARES funds from the Triangle J Council of Governments (TJCOG) to support virtual <br /> programming and other supplies in the Senior Centers related to the COVID-19 <br /> pandemic response. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds for the above <br /> stated purposes. (See Attachment 1, column #4) <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> Human Rights and Relations <br /> 8.
