7 <br /> 1 many things, but noted that the two districts are very different, and he would recommend <br /> 2 maintaining two separate task forces that will share information with each other. <br /> 3 Chair Rich said during School Collaboration meetings staff discussed having a County <br /> 4 Commissioner on that taskforce. <br /> 5 Dr. Jim Causby asked if the BOCC would let him know of any pertinent stakeholders that <br /> 6 should be included in the task force. <br /> 7 Mary Ann Wolf thanked the CHCCS BOE for its work, and thanked the Commissioners <br /> 8 for approving the capital lease for technology back in May. She said this made a huge <br /> 9 difference. <br /> 10 Chair Rich said the Commissioners did the same thing for Orange County Schools. <br /> 11 Commissioner McKee said he appreciated CHCCS being proactive with technology and <br /> 12 connectivity issues. He said he knows connectivity is better in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, but his <br /> 13 petition for funding to address the needs is not intended to be exclusive to OCS.
