22 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 The BOCC finds: <br /> 3 a- The requirements of Section 2.B of the UDO have been deemed complete-, and, <br /> 4 b- Pursuant to sections 1-1-5, and 1.1.7 of the UDO and to Section 153A-341 of the <br /> 5 North Carolina General statutes, the Board finds sufficient documentation within <br /> 6 the record denoting that the amendment is consistent with the adopted 2030 <br /> 7 Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 8 1- The amendment is consistent with applicable plans because it supports the <br /> 9 following 2030 Comprehensive Plan goals and objectives: <br /> 10 Objective ED-1.5: <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Identfi}barnersto development of desirable businesses and local businesses,and <br /> 13 mitigate these barriers. <br /> 14 The atlas amendment is consistent with this goal and objective as it <br /> 15 eliminates the need for the parcels to comply with development criteria <br /> associated with a previously approved Master Plan Development <br /> 16 Conditional Zoning(MPD-CZ) district. This district, commonly referred to as <br /> 17 Settlers Point, is being modified- These 8 parcels will have difficulty meeting <br /> 18 established development conditionsfslandards due to the proposed <br /> 19 modification.
