She said the work is very 14 <br />important, and Commissioners should have that vocabulary. She said Triangle J Council of 15 <br />Government is incorporating these topics into meetings, and encouraging participants to think 16 <br />broadly. 17 <br /> Commissioner Dorosin asked if the Town of Hillsborough is participating in the group of 18 <br />governments in the cohort 19 <br /> Annette Moore said the Town of Hillsborough was not involved in the cohort, but is now 20 <br />a member with GARE, and is included in the countywide initiative. She said this information will 21 <br />be presented to the Town of Hillsborough on October 12, 2020, and she will attend this meeting. 22 <br /> Commissioner Dorosin asked if there was a timeline for the items that were mentioned, 23 <br />and an arc over the next three months, six months, etc. 24 <br />• The training commi ee will develop a plan to <br />provide training to policymakers, managers, <br />staff, boards and commission members, and <br />community partners to build capacity to <br />advance racial equity and to embed racial equity <br />into countywide systems. <br />Training <br />14 <br />• The Evalua on and Accountability Commi ee will <br />develop an Evalua on Plan based on the principles of the <br />Results‐Based Accountability (“RBA”) framework. <br />• RBA is a na onal model and provides a disciplined, <br />data‐driven, decision‐making process to help local <br />governments take ac on to solve problems. <br />• An Evalua on Plan will help local governments apply <br />racial equity principles embedded into the Results‐Based <br />Accountability (RBA) methodology into Racial Equity <br />Ac on Plans. <br />Evaluation and Accountability <br />15 <br />• Questions <br />Advancing Racial Equity <br />16
