Minutes 10 The Board approved the draft minutes from the September 1, 2020 Virtual Business Meeting as 11 submitted by the Interim Clerk to the Board. 12 b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds 13 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle 14 property tax values for three taxpayers with a total of three bills that will result in a reduction of 15 revenue in accordance with NCGS. 16 c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds 17 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax 18 values for fifteen taxpayers with a total of twenty-six bills that will result in a reduction of revenue 19 in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. 20 d. Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion 21 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to approve eleven untimely 22 applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem taxation for twelve bills for the 2020 tax 23 year. 24 e. Resolution Authorizing Exchange of Property for the Sheriff’s Office 25 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, authorizing exchange of 26 weapons for credit at P.F. Custom Guns and authorized the Chair to sign. 27 f. Budget Amendment for the County Funding of 800 Hot Spots to Orange County 28 Schools 29 The Board approved a Budget Amendment in the amount of $120,000 to fund 800 Hots Spots 30 for Orange County Schools (OCS) at a cost of $150 each. 31 g. Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization Comprehensive 32 Transportation Plan Amendment 33 The Board approved a list of Orange County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) 34 Amendments in the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC 35 MPO) and submitted to the DCHC MPO for inclusion in its CTP Amendment. 36 h. Advisory Boards and Commissions – Appointments 37 The Board approved the Advisory Boards and Commissions appointments as reviewed and 38 discussed during the September 10, 2020 Work Session. 39 i. Approval of Board of Commissioners Meeting Calendar for Year 2021 40 The Board approved the meeting schedule for the Board of County Commissioners for calendar 41 year 2021. 42 j.
