1 <br /> <br /> ATTACHMENT 2 1 <br /> 2 <br />DRAFT 3 <br />MINUTES 4 <br />ORANGE COUNTY 5 <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS 6 <br />VIRTUAL BUSINESS MEETING 7 <br />OCTOBER 6, 2020 8 <br />7:00 p.m. 9 <br /> 10 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met for a Virtual Business Meeting on Tuesday, 11 <br />October 6, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. 12 <br /> 13 <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Penny Rich, Vice Chair Renee Price, and 14 <br />Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford, Mark Dorosin, Sally Greene, Mark Marcoplos, and Earl 15 <br />McKee 16 <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: 17 <br />COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts 18 <br />COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Bonnie Hammersley, Deputy County Manager 19 <br />Travis Myren, Interim Clerk to the Board Greg Wilder, and Assistant Deputy Clerk Allen 20 <br />Coleman (All other staff members will be identified appropriately below) 21 <br /> 22 <br /> Chair Rich called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and asked Commissioners to accept 23 <br />a roll call. 24 <br />The Board agreed by consensus. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners conducted a Virtual 27 <br />Business Meeting on October 6, 2020. Members of the Board of Commissioners participated in 28 <br />the meeting remotely. As in prior meetings, members of the public were able to view and listen 29 <br />to the meeting via live streaming video at orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos and on 30 <br />Orange County Gov-TV on channels 1301 or 97.6 (Spectrum Cable). 31 <br /> 32 <br />In this new virtual process, there are two methods for public comment. 33 <br /> Written submittals by email 34 <br /> Speaking during the virtual meeting 35 <br /> 36 <br />Detailed public comment instructions for each method are provided at the bottom of this 37 <br />agenda.
