The driveway should provide two ingress lanes and three egress lanes: a left-
turn lane with 200 feet of storage, a continuous right-turn lane, and a right-turn lane with 300
feet of storage
 Construct dual northbound left-turn lanes, each with 300 feet of storage and appropriate tapers
on US-70/I-40 Connector
 Install a traffic signal

Recommended roadway laneage is shown on Figure 10.
Based on the capacity analyses presented herein, all of the study intersections are expected to
operate acceptably in Phase 1 and 2 build-out traffic conditions.
Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at (919) 653-
5874 or earl.lewellyn@kimley-horn.com.

Appendices
Appendix A: Figures 1 – 10
Appendix B: Phase 2 Intersection Spreadsheets – with Shifted Site Driveway
Appendix C: Phase 2 Synchro and SimTraffic Outputs – with Shifted Site Driveway
952
