Buc-ee’s Phase 2 – Efland, NC <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />6.2 Mt. Willing Road – Forrest Avenue <br /> <br />Analyses indicate that the unsignalized Forrest Avenue – Mt. Willing Road intersection currently <br />operates with short delays on the minor-street approaches (Forrest Avenue). With the addition of <br />background and site traffic, the minor streets are expected to continue operating with short delays <br />in the build-out condition. Furthermore, site traffic has minimal impact on intersection operations. <br />Queues are expected to be manageable at this intersection based on SimTraffic simulations. <br /> <br />No improvements are recommended at this intersection to accommodate site traffic. <br /> <br />Table 6.2 summarizes the operation of the intersection for the existing (2020) and projected <br />(2023) background and build-out traffic conditions. <br /> <br />Table 6.2 <br />Level-of-Service <br />Mt.
