Buc-ee’s Phase 2 – Efland, NC <br /> <br />ES-5 <br /> <br />I-40 WB Ramp – East RI/RO Site Driveway <br /> Construct the site driveway as a right-in/right-out access, with one ingress lane and one <br />egress lane. <br /> Remove the existing I-40 WB Exit Ramp (WB Exit 160) <br /> Widen the I-40 WB Ramp to provide a continuous through lane and a continuous shared <br />through/right-turn lane on I-40 WB Service Road through this intersection, tying into the <br />existing two-lane cross section on the I-40 WB Service Road just west of the exiting WB Exit <br />160 Ramp junction. <br /> <br />I-40 WB Ramp – West RI/RO Site Driveway <br /> Construct the site driveway as a right-in/right-out access, with one ingress lane and one <br />egress lane. <br /> Widen the I-40 WB Ramp to provide an exclusive right-turn lane with 200 feet of storage and <br />an appropriate taper. <br /> <br />Recommended Improvements <br />The following improvements are recommended to accommodate projected site traffic demands <br />from Phase 2 of the Buc-ee’s – West Orange County development: <br /> <br />Mt. Willing Road – Site Driveway <br /> Construct a full-movement site driveway, with one ingress lane and two egress lanes, on Mt. <br />Willing Road approximately 625 feet north of I-40 WB Ramps <br /> <br />The recommended roadway laneage is shown on Figure ES-1. <br />443
