Buc-ee’s – Efland, NC <br /> <br />28 <br /> <br />6.9 I-40 WB Ramp – West RI/RO Site Driveway <br /> <br />The current site plan proposes constructing a right-in/right-out (RI/RO) driveway on the I-40 WB <br />Service Road approximately 565 feet east of Mt. Willing Road. The following additional <br />improvements are recommended to accommodate projected site traffic demands: <br /> <br />• Construct the site driveway as a right-in/right-out access, with one ingress lane and one <br />egress lane <br />• Widen the I-40 WB Ramp to provide an exclusive right-turn lane with 200 feet of storage and <br />an appropriate taper. <br /> <br />With the recommended improvements in place, the minor street approach (West RI/RO Site <br />Driveway) is expected to operate with short delays in the build-out traffic condition. No queuing <br />issues are expected at this intersection.
