As generally <br />depicted in Image 1-2 above, the predominant use of adjacent property is residential and agricultural <br />activities. The adjacent parcels to the North and West are residential, local commercial, and mobile home <br />park uses. The parcels to the South and East, across I-85/I-40 and the I-85 Connector, respectively, are <br />largely undeveloped with some agricultural uses. <br /> <br />There is also a large-scale electric utility line running across the property frontage on I-85/I-40 as generally <br />depicted on Sheet C1.0. Exhibit A provides a listing of all property owners within 1,000 feet of the Project. <br /> <br />As set forth above, the Project is designed to accommodate and protect adjacent properties and their <br />current uses through the use of substantial land use buffers and the protection of existing natural features. <br />Please refer to SECTION II Performance Standards for a more detailed explanation of the proposed land <br />use buffer program. <br />12
