As we have always <br />said, the health and safety of our campus community is <br />paramount, and we will continue to modify and adapt <br />our plan when necessary," Guskiewicz and Blouin <br />wrote in the alert. <br />Faculty said they were not aware of the decision before <br />the campus-wide announcement came. <br />"I think the management of the immediate aftermath <br />of that announcement here at the campus level showed <br />that they have not thought this process through," <br />Smith said. "It seemed to us, to many of us anyway, <br />that our administration too was in crisis.
