Educate the community on food and <br />the history of food to help them make <br />informed decisions and understand <br />how food affects the overall quality of <br />life <br />5. Check in with the community to see if <br />this is an interest for them and if this <br />is of concern to them <br />b. Access to Care Committee <br />i. Result/Goal - All individuals receiving services <br />in Orange County strive to obtain everything <br />they need, with no limitations, as it pertains <br />to accessing and receiving services such as: <br />transportation, healthcare, prevention, as <br />well as, intervention and treatment services <br />c. Health Equity Council <br />i. Result/Goal - There are no barriers to health <br />and wellbeing based on race and culture for <br />anyone in Orange County. <br />• Ashley was accepted into the RBA certification program, <br />offered and paid for through NC DHHS, in partnership with <br />NC AHEC. <br />a. To date – she has completed all of the study <br />modules and has taken and passed the exam <br />b. Before finalizing the certification, she is working on a <br />RBA presentation and a sample action plan <br />c. After completion, Ashley will be certified in RBA and <br />will be an additional RBA instructor through NC AHEC
