1. Ms. Paulen reported that the committee is still in the process of choosing a book. <br /> Due to multiple sub-committee members being absent, Ms. Castillo noted the <br /> sub-committee will have an update at the next meeting. <br /> C. Board Diversity <br /> 1. Ms. Garcia-Turner reported that the sub-committee had a good meeting. She <br /> explained that there will be a survey going out to BOCC members and all its <br /> advisory boards and commissions. The survey will ask for basic demographic <br /> information, then they will cross-reference that data with the demographic <br /> information of Orange County as a whole. Ms. Moore noted that the surveys will <br /> go out this coming Thursday. <br /> VII. Other Business/Announcements/Upcoming Events <br /> A. Ms. May inquired if any members would like to join the HRC retreat planning <br /> committee. HRC members decided to revisit this topic on the next meeting. <br /> VIII. Adjourn <br /> A.
