Proclamation Recognizing the Services and Contributions of Retiring Major David <br /> Lewis Caldwell, Jr. <br /> The Board considered voting to approve a proclamation recognizing Retiring Major <br /> David Lewis Caldwell, Jr. for his services to Orange County. <br /> Sheriff Blackwood, in a pre-recorded video, made the following presentation. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> David Caldwell has been a lifelong resident of Orange County, a champion for environmental <br /> justice, a career member of the Orange County Sheriff's Office and a respected leader <br /> throughout the Orange County community. <br /> David Caldwell was one of the founding members and served on the Rogers-Eubanks <br /> Neighborhood Association (RENA) as a Project Director. <br /> David Caldwell retired from the Orange County Sheriff's Office, for a second time, in 2020 as a <br /> Major of Support Services and Community Outreach. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING THE SERVICES AND CONTRIBUTIONS <br /> OF RETIRING MAJOR DAVID LEWIS CALDWELL, JR.
