Call to Order <br /> Saul called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. <br /> II. Additions or Changes to Agenda <br /> Saul requested to reinstate CFE Activities -2019 discussion as Item IV. <br /> III. Approval of Draft Minutes from November 11th, 2019 <br /> Motion by Piracci; seconded by Parry; none opposed; motion passed. <br /> IV. CFE Activities -2019 <br /> CFE discussed current activities with a brief status update for each item. <br /> V. Annual Report/Work Plan <br /> Stancil presented changes he had made to last year's Annual Report/Work Plan and <br /> requested guidance on last two items (planned CFE activities for 2020, concerns/ <br /> emerging issues for 2020). CFE assisted completion. Motion by Piracci to approve <br /> Annual Report/Work Plan once Stancil completed requested changes; seconded by <br /> Parry; none opposed; motion passed. <br /> VI. Successes of the Rural Buffer-Update <br /> Kerina Patel and Bouma provided an update on the analysis. From 1980-2017, the results <br /> show that the Rural Buffer had limited urban sprawl as intended. Growth in Chapel Hill <br /> and Carrboro transition zones occurred as expected. <br /> VII. State of the Environment Report Follow-up <br /> CFE discussed successes and potential improvements for the State of the Environment <br /> Report/Environmental Summit. Stancil applauded CFE involvement. <br /> VIII. Elections <br /> Piracci motioned to return Saul to CFE Chair position; seconded by Ward; none opposed; <br /> motion passed. Piracci self-nominated herself for CFE Vice Chair position; seconded by <br /> Ward; none opposed; motion passed. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
