The United Way will also continue to provide operating expense support for this
public/private partnership.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: UNC Hospitals will reimburse Orange County up to $50,000 for the
salary and fringe benefits for the permanent full-time Senior Public Health Educator that directs
the Wellness Program. United Way and class revenues cover operating expenses.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends approval and the Chair to sign the
Agreement renewal between UNC Hospitals and Orange County for the continuation of the
Wellness Program.
