DATA AND RECORDS REQUIRED <br /> 1.Any person completing, repairing or abandoning any well shall submit to the OCHD a <br /> record of the construction, repair, or abandonment. The record shall include: <br /> a)Certification that construction, repair or abandonment was completed as <br /> required by these Rules; <br /> b)The owner's name and address; <br /> c) Latitude and longitude of the well with a position accuracy of 100 feet or less; <br /> d) Diameter; <br /> e) Depth; <br /> f) Depth of water bearing zones <br /> g)Yield of each water bearing zone, <br /> h)Static water level and; <br /> i)Any other information the OCHD shall require as necessary to depict the <br /> location and construction details of the well. <br /> 2. The certified record of completion of a repair or abandonment shall be submitted at <br /> the time of inspection unless other methods of submittal have been pre-approved. <br /> 3.The furnishing of records to any person or agency other than the OCHD shall not <br /> constitute compliance with the reporting requirement and shall not relieve the well <br /> contractor of any obligations to the OCHD. <br /> History Note: Substitute for NCAC 02C.0118 <br /> Eff. It shall be unlawful for any person to offer for rent,to offer for lease,or to offer for <br /> occupation for non-monetary consideration any residence or place of business <br /> without a potable water supply. <br /> 2.Any well that is found to have contaminant levels exceeding the safe levels <br /> established by the NC Department of Public Health Epidemiology Sections shall not <br /> be used by renters or lessees until the well has been repaired in a manner approved <br /> by the OCHD and water samples taken from the well after the repair is complete <br /> indicate the water to be safe for human consumption. <br /> 41 <br />
