e. Nominations go to Katie or member of the Executive
Committee
IV. Director's Report:
a. Board members are asked to sign up for 2020 Arts Moment
introductions.
b. Katie is hiring an assistant. A strong candidate will be detail
oriented, have marketing skills, and be involved in events.
This position will be temporary
to start and will be 20-30 hours.
c. Eno Mill Project. Tours were given and applications were
reviewed. Applications will be
opened again and more tours will be given. Reviews will be
made by the end of February. Ten artists
are needed. Move in date is projected for March 15th. It is
important to note that the Mill is supplementing but not
competing with the Arts Center.
d. Art on the Hill. Tinka will be the board representative. The
proposal has changed. The event will take place in the
downtown area of all three towns during the
summer. It will be both indoors and outdoors and will be a
month long. Someone will need to be hired to plan this
event. Giving a stipend to each artist is a goal.
e. Children's Theater. Katie is looking for seed funding and a
director. Staff positions would be paid. These would include
dance, vocal, and theater instructors,
and an administrative organizer. Tuition would be charged.
V. Liaison Reports:
