give out arts grants and will outline the Eno Mill plans. <br /> b. Reviewers are needed for the Art Educator Grants. <br /> c. Arts on the Hill. Katie is continuing to meet with people <br /> around the county to get them on board. <br /> d. Paint It Orange. 58 artists participated this year. The exhibit <br /> will continue through the end of November. <br /> e. How to Get Signed Panel. This will be a conversation with <br /> local musicians at Local 506. <br /> V. Liaison Reports: <br /> a. UNC Student Liaison Update. Rachel emailed her report to <br /> the board members. Highlights of the report included that <br /> CPA is looking for an artistic director and that many <br /> programs are scheduled on campus this fall. <br /> b. UNC/Chapel Hill Arts Commission. PlayMakers has <br /> recently concluded a very powerful play entitled Native Son. <br /> The theater is providing a reflective space for interested <br /> people to gather following their productions. Changes were <br /> made in the organization of Festifall this year to make the <br /> event much more art focused. The Forest Theater is still <br /> being studied for the possibility of future changes. <br /> c. Hillsborough Arts Council. The council has had a full-time <br /> director now for 1 year. Tremendous effort is underway to <br /> launch the 5th Annual Riverpark Concert. <br /> d. The Arts Center. There will be a community input session, <br /> open to the public, on Wednesday, November 13th at <br /> OWASA. Planning is ongoing for the site design of the new <br /> Arts Center and fundraising is continuing. <br /> e. Visitors Bureau. Brief remarks — there are 3 more hotels <br /> approved for building in Chapel Hill. <br />
