Mazgazet Lane <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Re: Olive Branch InnJClass A Special Use Permit Application <br />Deaz Commissioners and Planning Members: <br />I am respectfully submitting the following response to RECOMMENDED SPECIAL USE <br />PERMIT CONDITIONS received from the Orange County Planning Department on May 25, <br />2001: <br />PZ:AN11~I11 ~G STAFF FECD~NDA:TIONS <br />(1) Roads, pazking areas, walkways. utilities, and landscaping shall be <br />maintained as shown on the approved plans. All such facilities shall further be <br />maintained and operated in a safe manner. <br />RESPONSE: This is reasonable and acceptable. <br />(2) The final site plan and narrative of the project aze to be incorporated herein and <br />made a part of this Special Use Permit. Copies of the final site plan (dated Mazch 23, <br />2001) and narrative are to remain on file with the Orange County Planning and <br />Inspections Departir~ent. <br />RESPONSE: This is reasonable and acceptable. <br />(3) The~Bed and Breal~ast shall be operated according to the site plan and written <br />narrative supplied by the applicant and in compliance with the above conditions. <br />RESPONSE: This is reasonable and acceptable. <br />(4) The Fire Marshal shall inspect and approve the facility to ensure that proper fire <br />detection devices are in place and operational prior to commencing operation <br />(after the Special Use Permit is recorded). <br />RESPONSE: This is reasonable and acceptable. Any additional recoaunendations <br />by the Fire Marshal will be implemented if the cost is not protubitive. Minimally, <br />fire extinguishers and mobile escape ladders will be provided for each upstairs <br />bedroom <br />
