[Type here] <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />The Orange County Planning Board began review of this application at its August 5, <br />2020 regular meeting and continued review at a special meeting on August 19, <br />2020. At the August 19 special meeting, the Planning Board voted 6-4 to <br />recommend approval of the application. Agenda materials from these meetings can <br />be viewed at: http://orangecountync.gov/AgendaCenter/Planning-Board-26 <br /> <br /> <br />Substantial changes in items presented at the public hearing may be made following the <br />receipt of comments made at the public hearing. In accordance with Session Law <br />2020-3 (Senate Bill 704), Section 4.31(a), which pertains to remote meetings during <br />declared emergencies, written comments on items heard at a public hearing are <br />accepted for 24 hours after the public hearing is closed and the Board of County <br />Commissioners shall not make a decision on public hearing items until after the 24-hour <br />period for written comments has concluded. <br /> <br />The full text of the public hearing items may be obtained no later than September 11, <br />2020 on the County’s website: <br />https://www.orangecountync.gov/1707/BOCC-Agendas <br />Information will also be available from the Orange County Planning Department (contact <br />information below) no later than September 4, 2020. <br /> <br />Questions regarding the proposals may be directed to the Orange County Planning <br />Department via phone at (919) 245-2575 during normal office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 <br />p.m., Monday through Friday).
