ii. Existing vegetation shall be preserved in identified buffer areas as <br />indicated on the approved master concept plan. In those instances <br />where foliage is disturbed or non-existent, landscaping shall be <br />installed consistent with the following schematic: <br /> <br /> STAFF COMMENT: Staff recommends the minimum linear <br />foot of planting be reduced to 100 ft. (i.e. the number of <br />trees for every 100 ft. of required buffer area versus 150 ft. <br />as proposed by the applicant) consistent with Section 6.8.6 <br />(F) of the UDO. <br /> STAFF COMMENT: Staff has recommended a 100 ft. <br />perimeter buffer be observed for portions of the Project <br />abutting residentially zoned property and Davis Road. <br />The applicant has expressed concern over this suggestion, <br />but indicated a willingness to discuss options. Part of this <br />discussion includes a request to modify required <br />stream/floodplain buffer requirements (discussed below). <br />Staff requests review of the item/concern with the applicant <br />and BOCC members in order to fashion final condition <br />language that is mutually agreeable to all parties. <br />iii.
