West Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278, until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday <br />September 17, 2020; <br />STAFF COMMENT: In accordance with Session Law 2020-3 Section 4.31(a), <br />regarding remote meetings during declared emergencies, while voting may be <br />allowed on the night of the meeting, staff is recommending the Board vote at a <br />subsequent meeting due to the complex nature of the project. <br />Session Law 2020-3 further allows the record to be supplemented by written <br />comments on items heard at a public hearing by accepting written comments for <br />24 hours after the public hearing is closed. Due to the late hour at which this <br />public hearing is expected to conclude, staff is recommending an additional period <br />of time in excess of this 24 hour period to accept written comments. <br /> <br />6. Schedule a vote to approve the: <br />a. Statement of Consistency (Attachment 10), and <br />b. Zoning Atlas Amendment (Attachment 11) <br /> at the Board’s October 6, 2020 business meeting as recommended by the Planning <br />Board and Planning Director. No additional public comments shall be received on this <br />item at the October 6 business meeting. <br /> <br />13
