This <br />does not take into consideration any development in the surrounding Counties and cities. Staff <br />is recommending the County’s long-term transportation vision – it’s CTP – be updated in light of <br />these developments. <br />Process: <br /> <br />DCHC MPO CTP Amendment is scheduled to go before the Technical Committee in September <br />and DCHC MPO Board in October to formally initiate the public process. Staff anticipates the <br />amendment will be adopted by December 2020. <br />• Staff requests the OUTBoard review Attachment 2 and complete its recommendations to <br />the BOCC in time for its October meeting <br />• Staff will submit BOCC action to DCHC MPO Board at MPO Board October meeting to <br />be included in the CTP Amendment <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no immediate financial impact associated with this item. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Staff recommends that the OUT Board: <br /> <br />1. Receive the presentation; <br />2. Discuss and ask questions as needed; and <br />3. Return on September 19 to finalize OUTBoard recommendations to BOCC. <br />8
