This is term will expire June 31, 2021. Mr. Keith is a Morehead-Cain Scholar at UNC, a music student, and is involved with on-campus performing arts. His role as liaison between our organizations, as well as his input as a current student and local artist, will be invaluable for the future initiatives of the OCAC. Additionally, at the August 10, 2020 meeting, the board approved the appointment of Sean T. Bailey to Position #7, currently held by Doris Friend until September 30, 2020. This term will expire September 30, 2023. Sean is a photographer and genetic and molecular biologist at UNC. His perspective as a person of color working in the sciences has influenced his work as an artist. This perspective, in addition to Sean’s network within the local arts community, make Sean a much-needed voice on our board. Sincerely,
Katie Murray Arts Commission Director

5
