17 <br /> 1 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner <br /> 2 Price to approve these amendments. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 VOTE: Ayes, 4 (Commissioner Dorosin, Chair Rich, Commissioner Price, <br /> 5 Commissioner Greene); Nays, 3 (Commissioner Bedford, Commissioner <br /> 6 Marcoplos, Commissioner McKee) <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Amendments 003/011 <br /> 9 <br /> 10 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner <br /> 11 Price to approve these amendments. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 VOTE: Ayes, 4 (Commissioner Dorosin, Chair Rich, Commissioner Price, <br /> 14 Commissioner Greene); Nays, 3 (Commissioner Bedford, Commissioner <br /> 15 Marcoplos, Commissioner McKee) <br /> 16 <br /> 17 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin to approve this amended <br /> 18 amendment - slide 13 - the projects listed in his column to be delayed. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Chair Rich proposed a friendly amendment to take out conservation easements. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner <br /> 23 Greene to approve these amendments with the conservation easements removed. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 VOTE: Ayes, 3 (Chair Rich, Commissioner Greene, Commissioner Dorosin); Nays, <br /> 26 4 (Commissioner Price, Commissioner Bedford, Commissioner McKee, <br /> 27 Commissioner Marcoplos) <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Commissioner Price said she is not comfortable taking monies out of IT. <br /> 30 Commissioner Dorosin proposed taking $500,000 out of IT instead. <br /> 31 Commissioner Price asked if IT needs could be identified. <br /> 32 Travis Myren said there are three things going on: cybersecurity, laptop <br /> 33 replacements, and routine upgrades. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner <br /> 36 Price to approve that column and revising the cut to IT to $500,000. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 VOTE: Ayes, 4 (Commissioner Price, Commissioner Dorosin, Chair Rich, <br /> 39 Commissioner Greene); Nays, 3 (Commissioner Bedford, Commissioner McKee, <br /> 40 Commissioner Marcoplos) <br /> 41 <br /> 42 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner <br /> 43 Greene to make the delays in the Dorosin column, with lands legacy taken out (slide14). <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Commissioner Price asked if the IT funding is additional to the previous motion. <br /> 46 Paul Laughton, Financial and Administrative Services, said yes, and it is software <br /> 47 and infrastructure upgrades, cyber security, and equipment replacements. He said year <br /> 48 staff has regular IT updates and maintenance to keep up to date. He said the motion <br /> 49 would reduce IT greatly. <br /> 50 Commissioner McKee said the Board cannot continue to strip the IT budget, and <br /> 51 the Board is entering down a rabbit hole here. <br /> 52 Commissioner Greene said she shares the same concern, and withdrew her <br /> 53 second. <br /> 54 Commissioner Price said she cannot support it. <br />
