Approval of Two Contracts Associated with the State of North Carolina's "Building <br /> Reuse Grant" Incentive to ABB, Inc. <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign two contracts, on behalf of Orange <br /> County, related to the State of North Carolina's "Building Reuse Grant" incentive awarded on <br /> July 10, 2019 to ABB, Inc., a local manufacturing industry. This State incentive requires Orange <br /> County's participation as part of the "pass through" process for $500,000 in North Carolina <br /> Department of Commerce funds to transfer from the State to the County, and then to ABB, Inc. <br /> f. Request for Road Additions to the State Maintained Secondary Road System for <br /> Peninsula Lane and Grassland Court in The Bluffs at Moorefields Subdivision <br /> The Board voted to make a recommendation to the North Carolina Department of <br /> Transportation (NCDOT), and the North Carolina Board of Transportation (NC BOT), <br /> concerning a petition to add Peninsula Lane and Grassland Court in The Bluffs at Moorefields <br /> Subdivision to the State Maintained Secondary Road System. <br /> g. JCPC Certification for FY 2020-2021 <br /> The Board approved the Orange County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) <br /> Certification and County Plan for FY 2020-2021 and authorize the Chair to sign. <br /> h. Resolution of Approval — Conservation Easement on Triangle Land Conservancy's <br /> Patterson-Thornton Property <br /> The Board voted on a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to approve the acceptance <br /> by Orange County of a conservation easement donation for Triangle Land Conservancy's <br /> Patterson-Thornton Property and authorize the Chair and the Clerk to sign the conservation <br /> easement agreement, subject to final review by staff and County Attorney, with a closing and <br /> recordation of the document expected to occur on or about June 30, 2020. <br /> i. Update to Orange County Limited English Proficiency Policy ("Orange County <br /> "Language Access Plan") <br /> The Board approved an update to Orange County's Limited English Proficiency Policy <br /> ("Language Access Policy"). <br /> j. Approval of Contract with Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. as a Secondary <br /> Provider for Disaster Debris Removal and Clearance Service <br /> The Board authorized the Manager to sign an Agreement with Ceres Environmental Services, <br /> Inc. as a secondary provider for Disaster Debris Removal and Clearance Services for the <br /> County. <br /> k. Fiscal Year 2019-20 Budget Amendment #11 <br /> The Board approved budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br /> 2019-20 for Housing and Community Development; Emergency Services; Miscellaneous; Non- <br /> Departmental Corona Virus Relief Fund; Article 46 Sales Tax Fund; Sheriff's Office; Health and <br /> Dental Insurance Fund; County Capital Projects; Deferred Maintenance — Schools; Criminal <br /> Justice Resource Department; and Arts Commission. <br /> I.
