Year-to - Date Budget <br /> Summary <br /> PURPOSE : To approve budget ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2019 -20 . <br /> BACKGROUND . <br /> Arts Commission <br /> 1 . The Arts Commission has received $ 3 , 901 in donations and program revenues from <br /> class fees and the Paint it Orange fundraiser . These funds will be used for administrative <br /> program expenses . This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional <br /> funds for the above stated purpose in the Visitors Bureau Fund , outside of the General <br /> Fund . (See Attachment 1 , column 1) <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT :: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact <br /> associated with this item . <br /> Housing and Community BevolopmonL'f <br /> 2 . The Department of Housing and Community Development is requesting a fund balance <br /> appropriation of $ 71 , 000 from the Housing Fund , special revenue fund , outside of the <br /> General Fund , established specifically for the Housing Choice Voucher ( HCV) program . <br /> These funds will be used toward the purchase of software , supplies , and services to <br /> support the HCV program . With this appropriation , approximately $ 280 , 840 remains in <br /> the Housing Fund ' s available fund balance . This budget amendment provides for the <br /> fund balance appropriation of $ 71 , 000 from the Housing Fund . (See Attachment 1 , <br /> column 2) <br />
