The following may be helpful as a guide: <br />1. Motion to recommend to the B OCC approval of the Resolution (Attachment 1), which <br />reflects the proposed Town of Hillsborough/Orange County Central Orange Coordinated <br />Area (COCA) Land Use Plan and Orange County Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use <br />Map (FLUM) amendments (reading the Resolution aloud is optional); <br />2. Second the Motion; <br />3. Rollcall vote and announce results. <br />(If needed, the Chair or Planning Administrative staff may request any clarification that may be <br />needed to ensure that all of the essential aspects are heard and noted for the minutes.) <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT:Consideration and approval will not create the need for additional funding <br />for the provision of County services. Costs for mailed notifications and the required legal <br />advertisement will be paid from FY2020-21 Departmental funds budgeted for this pu rpose. <br />Existing Planning staff included in the Departmental staffing budget will accomplish the work <br />required to process this amendment. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S):The Planning Director recommends the Planning Board: <br />1. Consider the Planning Director’s recommendation, and <br />2. Make a recommendation to the BOCC on the Resolution (Attachment 1) in time for a <br />September 15, 2020 Public Hearing. <br />34
