My work at both of those levels of government gave me hands on experience with <br />government budget processes and funding requirements; as well as hands on experience with <br />funding applications and appeals. <br />My current work places me in close contact with numerous aspects of the State Court system <br />which highlight the need for improved quality and access to various forms of continuing and high <br />education such as those provided by DTCC. My undergraduate degree from BYU in political <br />science provides a broad range of knowledge and background information regarding systems <br />and organizational structures that are employed for the efficient operation of an institution such <br />as DTCC and provides a different perspective through which to evaluate potential board <br />decisions and action. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />20
