VI. Evaluation Criteria 8 The evaluation criteria below will be used in reviewing and ranking housing bond fund proposals. Additional guidelines may need to be added to these depending upon the location and nature of the project. All projects that score above 60 points will be funded as long as band funding is available. The score of 60 must be derived from points earned in each evaluation category. A. Need (25 points) The Initial Needs Chart has been determined from data provided to the Funding Subcommittee of the Affordable Housing Task Farce to delineate the housing needs in the community in a priority ranking, This chart will be subsequently reviewed by the Orange County Housing and Community Development Department, and thoroughly reviewed whenever a new five (5) year housing plan is created. Projects will be ranked according to their the type of housing and the percentage of median income the project is designed to serve. Specifically, points will be awarded in the following manner. a, Critical (C) - 25 b. Medium (M) --12 c. High (H) --18 d. Low (L) - 6 e. N/A -Nat applicable - 0
