County Manager’s Report 6 <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said there will be a Budget Work Session on May 21st. 7 <br /> 8 <br />10. County Attorney’s Report 9 <br /> John Roberts said the General Assembly (GA) has been focused on Covid-19 issues, 10 <br />and today was the last day for local bills. 11 <br /> 12 <br />11. *Appointments 13 <br />NONE 14 <br /> 15 <br />Commissioner Marcoplos said Commissioner McKee proposed meeting in person on 16 <br />June 2nd, and asked if there is a status update on this. He said he is prepared to make a 17 <br />motion that the BOCC not meet in person. 18 <br />Chair Rich said there is a State of Emergency in place that does not allow gatherings of 19 <br />more than 10 people. 20 <br />Commissioner Marcoplos said he supported that, and now is not the time to get cavalier. 21 <br />Commissioner McKee said it was a petition, and was in line with the governor’s phasing 22 <br />in. 23 <br />Commissioner Dorosin referred to the follow up list for petitions, and whether Chapel Hill 24 <br />Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS) has signed a janitorial contract. He said he still thinks a task 25 <br />force is needed to look into the issue of in house versus contract services, even if CHCCS has 26 <br />already signed a contract. 27 <br />Commissioner Bedford said Commissioner Dorosin is misreading it, and the petition to 28 <br />have a task force created is still on the list. 29 <br /> 30 <br />12.
