Fiscal Year 2019-20 Budget Amendment #10 11 <br />The Board approved budget and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 12 <br />2019-20 for Department on Aging; Department of Social Services; Non-Department – Juvenile 13 <br />Crime Prevention Council (JCPC); Health Department; Housing and Community Development; 14 <br />and Animal Services. 15 <br />Chair Rich said wanted to point out that DSS received $7155 in community giving 16 <br />donations for their food pantry and school supplies, and she wanted to share the Board’s 17 <br />appreciation for these donations. 18 <br /> 19 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner Price to 20 <br />approve budget and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2019-20. 21 <br /> 22 <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS 23 <br /> 24 <br />a. Minutes 25 <br />The Board approved the draft minutes from April 23 and 28, 2020 as submitted by the 26 <br />Clerk to the Board. 27 <br />b. Request for Road Additions to the State Maintained Secondary Road System for 28 <br />Sweetflag Lane in The Forest at Little River Subdivision 29 <br />The Board voted to make a recommendation to the North Carolina Department of 30 <br />Transportation (NCDOT), and the North Carolina Board of Transportation (NC BOT), 31 <br />concerning a petition to add Sweetflag Lane in The Forest at Little River Subdivision to the 32 <br />State Maintained Secondary Road System. 33 <br />c. Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance – Approval and Certification of 2020 34 <br />Report 35 <br />The Board approved and certified the 2020 Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance 36 <br />Technical Advisory Committee (SAPFOTAC) Report. 37 <br />d. Audit Contract Renewal Extension for Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC 38 <br />The Board voted to exercise the second of three one-year renewal options for Mauldin & 39 <br />Jenkins to perform audit services for Orange County pursuant to Request for Proposals (RFP) 40 <br />5215 of the original audit contract approved by Board of County Commissioners on March 22, 41 <br />2016; authorize the requisite County signatures as required by the North Carolina Local 42 <br />Government Commission; and authorize staff to pursue a new RFP during the upcoming year 43 <br />for audit services for Orange County beginning with the FY 2020-21 financial and compliance 44 <br />audit. 45 <br />e.
