3 <br /> EXTENSION OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br /> This Extension of the interlocal agreement between Orange County, North Carolina and Durham County, <br /> North Carolina (both corporate entities of the state of North Carolina),governing Little River Regional <br /> Park and Natural Area, serves to extend the expiration of the existing Agreement by twelve (12) months, <br /> to a new termination date of June 30, 2021. <br /> The Agreement referenced herein for extension (provided here as Attachment 1) is formally titled <br /> "INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF LITTLE RIVER <br /> REGIONAL PARK AND NATURAL AREA," last adopted by Orange County on May 20, 2014, and by <br /> Durham County on June 23, 2014. <br /> A. For the purposes of Notice,the addresses of the parties to this Extension are: <br /> DURHAM COUNTY: ORANGE COUNTY: <br /> Durham County Attorney's Office Orange County DEAPR <br /> 200 East Main Street P. 0. Box 8181 <br /> Durham, NC 27701 Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> B. The parties referenced above wish to extend the term of the said Interlocal Agreement (Attachment <br /> 1)for the purposes of additions and modifications of the Agreement, to be completed between this <br /> date and June 30, 2021. <br /> C. For good and valuable consideration,the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, <br /> the Parties do hereby agree to extend the duration of the "INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR THE <br /> OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF LITTLE RIVER REGIONAL PARK AND NATURAL AREA" by <br /> twelve (12) months, with a modified termination date of said Agreement of June 30, 2021. <br /> D.
