Members of the Board of Commissioners <br />and Boards of Education participated in the meeting remotely. As in prior meetings, <br />members of the public were able to view and listen to the meeting via live streaming <br />video at orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos and on Orange County Gov-TV on <br />channels 1301 or 97.6 (Spectrum Cable). <br /> <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Penny Rich and Commissioners Jamezetta <br />Bedford, Mark Dorosin, Sally Greene, Mark Marcoplos, Earl McKee and Renee Price <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br />COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: <br />CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO BOARD OF EDUCATION PRESENT: Chair Mary Ann Wolf, Joal <br />Broun, Rani Dasi, Amy Fowler, Deon Temne, Ashton Powell <br />CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO BOARD OF EDUCATION ABSENT: Jillian LaSerna <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION PRESENT: Chair Will Atherton, Dr. Steve <br />Halkiotis, Brenda Stephens, Hillary MacKenzie, Tony McKnight, Sarah Smylie and Dr. Stephen <br />Halkiotis <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION ABSENT: Matthew Roberts <br />DURHAM TECH PRESENT: Dr. Bill Ingram, Penny Gluck <br />COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Bonnie Hammersley, Deputy County Manager <br />Travis Myren, and Clerk to the Board Donna Baker (All other staff members will be identified <br />appropriately below) <br />CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO SCHOOLS (CHCCS) STAFF PRESENT: Superintendent Pam <br />Baldwin, Interim Superintendent Patrick Abele, Jonathan Scott, Interim CFO <br />ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOLS (OCS) STAFF PRESENT: Superintendent Monique Felder, <br />Sara Pitts, Director of Environmental Health and Safety and Rhonda Rath, CFO. <br /> <br />Chair Rich called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and asked for a Roll Call. <br /> <br />Welcome and Opening Remarks <br />OCS Chair Atherton highlighted some issues with the OCS budget, and the OCS <br />response to the pandemic: <br />• Safety - provided PPE equipment to all staff on the frontline <br />• Food - 31,851 meals provided
