The Services to be rendered pursuant to this Agreement are as follows <br /> (fully describe services to be provided): Brine pump assembly -- The first project <br /> consists of new bracing and support for the current brine pump that is in place. 2" by 2" <br /> angle brackets will be used to provide much need support to the base of the pump and <br /> surrounding subsections to prevent vibration and failure. Chiller barrel updating -- The <br /> second project will consist of removing the endbell of the chiller barrel and updating the <br /> current gasket assembly and piping connections. This will require the plant to be off for <br /> a period of time and a welder cut the main header pipes to the chiller. The cool floor <br /> brine will need to removed and stored on site while the work is being completed and the <br /> plant will need to be shut down. Additional brine will need to be added and some for <br /> future storage. Cooling jacket head updating -- The project includes removing and <br /> replacing outdated compressor heads on compressor 2. The new heads will provide <br /> better efficiency and cooling for the top of compressor 2. Valves will also be replace and <br /> the top end of the compressor will be inspected. Control update -- This project will <br /> update the control thermostat with a modern control that can be monitored remotely for <br /> quick reaction time for problems. The control will be updated to a Honeywell 751 <br /> controller. <br /> 4. Duration of Services <br /> a. Term. The term of this Agreement shall be from April 20, 2020 to June 30, 2020. <br /> b. Scheduling of Services. <br /> i) The Provider shall schedule and perform its activities in a timely manner. <br /> ii) Should the County determine that the Provider is behind schedule, it may require <br /> the Provider to expedite and accelerate its efforts, including providing additional <br /> resources and working overtime, as necessary, to perform its services in <br /> accordance with the approved project schedule at no additional cost to the <br /> County. <br /> iii) The Commencement Date for the Provider's Basic Services shall be April 20, <br /> 2020. <br /> 5. Compensation <br /> a. Compensation for Basic Services. Compensation for Basic Services shall include all <br /> compensation due the Provider from the County for all services satisfactorily (as <br /> determined by the County) performed pursuant to this Agreement. The maximum <br /> amount payable for Basic Services shall not exceed Twenty-Two Thousand Five <br /> Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($22,515.00). Payment for satisfactorily performed Basic <br /> Services shall become due and payable within thirty (30) days of Provider properly <br /> invoicing County. Payment shall be subject to provisions of Section 5(b). <br /> b. Disputes. In the event the amount stated on an invoice is disputed by the County, the <br /> County may withhold payment of all or a portion of the amount stated on an invoice <br /> Revised 11/19 <br /> 3 <br />
