This will require the plant to be off for a period of time and a <br /> welder cut the main header pipes to the chiller. The cool floor brine will need to removed and stored on <br /> site while the work is being completed and the plant will need to be shut down. Additional brine will <br /> need to be added and some for future storage. <br /> Costs include the following <br /> -4 days of labor for 2 techs <br /> -welder for 2 days of labor <br /> -travel costs from Raleigh <br /> -gasket assembly <br /> -insulation of piping <br /> -55 bags of brine <br /> -pressure testing and completion $10,875 <br /> Cooling jacket head updating <br /> The project includes removing and replacing outdated compressor heads on compressor 2. The new <br /> heads will provide better efficiency and cooling for the top of compressor 2. Valves will also be replace <br /> and the top end of the compressor will be inspected. <br /> Costs include the following <br /> -2 days of labor for 2 techs <br /> -new head assemblys for the compressor <br /> -valve kits for the compressor and related gaskets. <br /> -glycol to replenish cooling jacket system upon reassembly. $7370 <br /> Control update <br /> This project will update the control thermostat with a modern control that can be monitored remotely <br /> for quick reaction time for problems. The control will be updated to a Honeywell 751 controller. <br /> Costs include the following <br /> -1 day of labor for 1 tech <br />
