He said this should be low impact in relation to traffic. 23
Commissioner Greene asked if the space in Emergency Services warehouse would no 24
longer be used. 25
Travis Myren said yes. 26
Commissioner Bedford asked if this is the best location for a facility such as this, and 27
could staff consider other locations when conducting the facilities space study. 28
Travis Myren said staff can consider that as part of the overall facility space plan. He 29
said the Medical Examiner travels as needed, so it does not need to be near a hospital, etc. He 30
said having it outside of downtowns will not impact the service levels required. He said staff 31
could treat them as two separate projects, if needed. He resumed the PowerPoint 32
presentation: 33
34
Commissioner McKee arrived at 7:57pm. 35
36
Long Range Parks Plan 37
38
39
FY2020-21 Recommended Parks, Open Space, and Trail Development Projects 40
• Blackwood Farm Park Farm House Remediation - $350,000 41
o Remediate and Rehabilitate Historic Farm House 42
 Short Term – Replace Rented Trailer for Staff 43
 Long Term – Restore to Historic Park Feature 44
 Could be used as an Nature Learning Center 45
46
FY2020-21 Recommended Parks, Open Space, and Trail Development Projects (photo) 47
48
FY2020-21 Recommended Parks, Open Space, and Trail Development Projects (photo) 49
50
