The County has received this award nine out of the <br />last ten years. This award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting and <br />represents a significant achievement by the organization. In order to receive this award, the <br />budget document must meet program criteria as a policy document, an operations document, a <br />financial plan, and a communications device. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this award. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board recognize the <br />achievement of the Orange County Budget Office and present the GFOA plaque to the Budget <br />staff. <br />
